VET
Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are nationally registered training qualifications offered to senior secondary students and can give credit towards a VCE or VCAL certificate. There is a list of VCAA approved VET courses with some offering scored assessment, some can be done through the Block Credit Recognition and some through School Based Apprenticeships or Traineeships (SBATs).
Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) Recognition - VCAA
Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) recognition provides the formal framework and processes to enable students to integrate their on-the-job experience and learning in a workplace with nationally recognised VET undertaken as part of either the VCE or the VCAL.
